1. Information We Collect and Cloud Syncing
BookManager is designed as an offline-first tool. All private library configurations (such as physical bookcase shelf locations, borrower names, contact details, and loan logs) are stored strictly on your local device and are never uploaded or synced to the cloud.
To help build a shared book catalog database in the future, the app reserves the right to upload or sync generic, non-personal book details (such as titles, authors, ISBNs, descriptions, page/chapter counts, and cover photos) to cloud services.
Note: If you uninstall the app or clear its storage without making a manual backup, all your local physical placements, reading notes, and loan history will be permanently lost.
2. Data Processing and Portability
You retain total control of your library records. You may export your records into a JSON format or completely erase all records at any time from the settings screen.
3. Ad Advertising Services
This app displays advertisements via Google AdMob. If you consent, AdMob collects mobile advertising identifiers and device properties to serve personalized ads. If you opt-out, ads will still be displayed, but they will be non-personalized (generic).
